As the headlines scream of violence in the streets of Chicago , Maryville's CYO program has teamed up with World Sport Chicago to expand its programs. WSC and Maryville believe that each child who is off the streets and tossing a ball through a hoop is one less child in the line of fire, one less child being recruited by a gang, and one less child likely to use a weapon to maim or kill. The CYO has been working for 80 years to provide healthy recreation to children at risk in the Chicago
