Patricia Brown Holmes practices law in Illinois, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Norther District of Illinois and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. She is Currently a member of the firm of Schiff Hardine, LLP, in their General Litigation Group and White Collar Criminal Defense/Corporate Compliance Group. Formerly, she served as Associate Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chief Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago, Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of Illinois, and Assistant Stat's Attorney in the Criminal Division of the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.
Current and past service for professional and service organizations include the Illinois Judges Associateon, Illinois Judicial Council, National Council of Jevenile and Family Court Judges, Black Women Lawyers' Association of Greater Chicago, Just the Beginning Foundation, Inc., and the Seventh Circuit Bar Association American Jury Project Commission.
She holds a B.S. from the University of Illinois and a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law.
