On Thursday, May 3, the Friends of the Maryville Crisis Nursery hosted their second annual Baby Shower and Tea at Sunset Ridge Country Club in Northfield. The event was a sell-out, with approximately 300 supporters in attendance. Following a reception and lunch, of the Friends of the Crisis Nursery, Sr. Cathy, and Program Director Amy Kendal-Lynch shared the successes of the Nursery and spoke about the important services it has provided to its clients in its first year. The event also included a fashion show presented by Winnetka boutique neapolitan, and a marketplace where guests were able to purchase fashions and accessories, with a portion of sales benefiting the Crisis Nursery.
