Maryville Academy's Services

Maryville is making an impact on lives throughout Northern Illinois.

At Maryville Academy, we are focused on some of our community’s most critical issues.  Our range of programs includes residential programs, behavioral and mental health services, family support services, secondary and special education, and community development programs.

Psychiatric Hospital and Outpatient Services
In addition to providing behavioral health in our programs, Maryville Academy also works with children ages 3 to 21 with complex emotional and mental health needs.  Maryville Academy provides caring, individualized and therapeutic services to these special children.

Education and Vocation
Education and vocational experiences are fundamentally important to the process of helping people achieve their fullest potential.  Maryville Academy offers a range of both educational and vocational services for children living at Maryville and for students living in our community.

Family Support
We believe that the best place for children to grow up is in families.  Maryville Academy offers resources to support and preserve families through a respectful, strengths-based approach that views the family as central to the child's well-being.  Maryville Academy also provides care for families and their children ages 0 to 21 who are medically fragile in a caring and compassionate environment.

Group Homes & Residential Treatment Centers
Maryville Academy provides a safe and stable living environment for those who are unable to live at home. While children live at Maryville, a team of highly-trained professionals works with them and their families with the goal of restoring family life whenever possible.

Maryville Academy strives to educate and empower young people with the knowledge and skills they need to make a lasting contribution to our community.  We work with children, adolescents, and young adults providing them with a solid educational foundation, athletic opportunities, and vocational experiences giving them the skills they need to succeed in the world, and to become a positive influence in the community.
