The Guardian Society

The Guardian Society is a select group of generous alumni, parents, friends and staff committed to Maryville’s essential mission.  Members of the Guardian Society assist in advancing Maryville through personal annual gifts of $1000 or greater.  These gifts provide Maryville with current dollars and establish a highly visible standard of giving for Maryville supporters to emulate.  Guardian Society Members are recognized in the Annual Report and enjoy special invitations to Maryville events. 

In addition to outright gifts, planned giving (including bequests, trusts and insurance gifts) can make charitable giving part of your long term financial and estate planning.  State and federal laws encourage philanthropy by conferring tax advantages on charitable gifts.  As a result planned giving helps you receive maximum tax benefits, enables you to make a greater gift than you thought possible and benefits your family and heirs.  Those who have remembered Maryville in their wills, trusts, insurance plans or other estate planning documents are eligible for membership in Maryville’s Visionary Society.  Members of Maryville’s Visionary Society are recognized in the Annual Report and enjoy special invitations to Maryville.
