Maryville Academy is hiring a LICENSED Therapist. This individual will need to have a clinical license (LCSW, LCPC, or Psychologist).
The Therapist provides a wide range of therapeutic services to the youth along with ongoing consultation to treatment team staff. The Therapist's primary duty is work that requires advanced knowledge in the field of psychology or social work. Position requires the consistent exercise of discretion and judgment. The essential functions of the job include:
1.Providing individual, group, and family therapy and case management.
2.Completing all necessary clinical paperwork, including but not limited to mental health
assessments, treatment plans, comprehensive progress reports and discharge summaries, while adhering to established timelines and all licensing and accreditation standards.
3.Providing crisis intervention as needed.
4.Providing treatment that meets the guidelines of Medicaid, DCFS, and other contracting agencies and meets standards of best practice as well as licensing and accreditation standards.
5.Providing clinical supervision to non-licensed
staff, documenting each supervision session according to standards.
Minimum Requirements:

The Transition/Vocational Coordinator is responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing evaluation of a program to meet the needs of the vocational students in conjunction with potential employers in the local area. The Transition/Vocational Coordinator is directly responsible to the Principal. The essential functions of the job include:
1. Providing career counseling, arranging formal/informal vocational assessments of students, assisting with job placement and evaluating potential job sites with regard to student skills and interests
2. Coordinating INVEST program services
3. Coordinating/writing/implementing all components of student transition plan
