Becoming a Volunteer

Benefits
Volunteering can be a rewarding and satisfying experience.  Volunteers can explore career opportunities and enhance their resume while sharing their talents and skills with others.


Application Process  
Screening and orientation take approximately 2 to 4 weeks.
• Volunteers must be 21 years of age to work directly with teens or 18 years of age to work with young children. 
• Volunteers working directly with teens and children must complete an application and background check, have a physical and drug screening (paid for by Maryville), provide two references, and have an interview.
• Volunteers working directly with teens and children will also need to attend Protecting God’s Children workshop within 60 days of starting.
