Make a difference in the life of a child and become a volunteer

When you donate your time to Maryville children and families, you are given the opportunity to inspire others to break through personal barriers and reach their fullest potential.

Child Care Volunteers

Volunteers help staff provide quality care to children, 6 and under, staying for a short term at the Crisis Nursery. Volunteers can also assist at the Children’s Healthcare Center, which provides care for medically fragile children ages birth to 21.

The application process, screening and orientation take approximately 2 to 4 weeks.

Volunteers must be 21 years old to work directly with teens or 18 years old to work with young children.

Special Events

Here are some opportunities if you or your organization would like to consider volunteering at Maryville.

  • Host a holiday party
  • Sponsor a fundraiser
  • Provide gifts for birthdays or Christmas or retail stores that provide merit-based gifts for our children
  • Invite our youth to a special event
  • Donate admissions to events and activities in the Chicago area
  • Serve at a Maryville event
